Held on a note of satisfaction, Mr. MENDOUGA Georges, Chief of Sector, congratulated his colleagues on the satisfactory results for May 2026, while urging them to maintain their position as the Number 1 Sector, despite a generally challenging environment.

Regarding the statistical results presented, the Sector achieved a cash-based performance of 50 983 020 476 FCFA, against a forecast of 53 474 000 000 FCFA, representing 95.34% of the target. For the current month of June 2026, the Sector is expected to generate revenue of 66 728 700 000 FCFA.

One of the key items on the agenda addressed the recommendations issued by the Director General of Customs regarding the gaps observed during the months of January and February 2026. Each Unit Head was required to present two measures to achieve the expected results.
