Our colleague Ebenezer Tafili has come to the end of his five-year service at the WCO. Monday 12 January was his last day in the office. This came on the heels of his ultimate participation in this year’s Away Days of the WCO Senior Management Team on 8 and 9 January in Kortrijk, Belgium.

In a farewell cometogether in his honour last December 11, the WCO Secretary Grneral, Mr Ian Saunders, thanked him for his five years of committed service at the WCO Secretariat, first as Deputy Director, Capacity Building Directorate, and then as  Deputy Director,  Implementation Support Sub-Directorate following the entry into force of the new organisational structure of the WCO Secretariat on July 1, 2025.

The Secretary General awarded him a certificate of appreciation and recognition during the heavily attended farewell ceremony.
